Three Copse Woodland Products

Youtube - our channel, aims and ideas

We have been working on this project for a while now and while we have uploaded a few videos we have been in need of a clear path.

As you can see from our long introduciton video below we are now pushing forward.

Passing on knowledge

As woodland owners we have over 20 years of experience, in that time we have seen it all what you might call the good the bad and the bizarre.

We have learned from others as well as trying our own ideas, while some of our ideas haven’t quite worked out we have learned from those mystakes.

This is what we aim to pass on in our vlogs and videos.

Watch, Learn, Discover

We have use this as a tag line because we believe it is inportant to help people learn in a practical way.

There are a million an one videos out there of what happens when it goes wrong, and while we can all have a laugh at the expence of the person on the screen it is important to know the the correct way to do things.

We also aim to look at both sides of the argument when it comes to subjects such as woodland management including some of the buzz words that you find in the press, on social media and on Youtube. being scientific about how we look at a subject is far more productive than saying that’s wrong.

Practical subjects

As well as our knowledge about ownership and managment of woodland we also plan to pass on the practical skills we use here at Three Copse HQ

We will be covering things like tools selection,  their safe use and how to maintain them.

Our aim is to  show you some of the hand tools we use here and why we selected them.

We will also cover basic tree and plant ID, as well as a whole host of other skills.

Video series and more

As we have said above we will be covering a lot of ground with our Youtube channel. to make it easiear to find the content you are interested in we will be building video series, including subjects such as “from tree to charcoal” machine selection and much much more.
