We were there as part of the Hampshire Coppice Craftsmen's Group stand along with Les and Toni Brannon, and Terry Collet was also there being 'woody'.
Despite the rain we had a productive afternoon on the lathe and carving front with several door wedges, dibbers and a spatula or two made. Les Brannon was making oak pegs and Terry was finishing some walking sticks as well as talking to people about Herby the barn owl. Herby was quite willing to be stroked by selected people and even returned the compliment by preening Emily's hand.
There was a good display of produce in the church hall and in part of the church itself. Some excellent vegetables, fruit and flowers and some very good crafts.
Other attractions at the show included some vintage bikes and tricycles, a large inflatable bouncy slide, as well as lots of food and other stands.
