Blackmoor Apple Tasting Day

Blackmoor Estate’s famous Apple Tasting Day has been running for over 50 years.

This hugely popular free local event is in aid of local charities and is a rare opportunity for fruit enthusiasts to taste a wide variety of the old an new apple and pear varieties grown at Blackmoor.

As usual this was the last show of the year for the Three Copse team and we were a broom squire down.

As the paragraph above suggests this is a hugely popular event with people coming from a wide area to visit. Being a rural show, it always attracts people who understand us a business and our products and they always appreciate the time and skill that goes into them.

Being an autumn show and leading up to all hallows eve, the main focus is always on Besom brooms and this year was no different, with witches of all ages popping buy to pick up a broom.

That said as we always point out “our brooms are for life not just for Halloween”.

The day wasn’t all about the brooms though Kester was kept busy making up belts and as always getting the new owners involved in the process or at least letting them watch there belts take shape.
