Woodland can be managed in a number of ways, and this Basic woodland management course will cover several different methods with examples in our own wood. This include:
different sylvicultural systems
The different types of equipment available and their suitability
Basic tree safety
We will also show you the state of the wood after being left unmanaged for some years and how it looks after restoration management. This course is primarily for those with an interest in working woodland, but may also be of interest to those who just walk in woods.
